Abstract

Over the past two decades I have trained hundreds of physicians to implant devices. The excitement of learning to implant a spinal cord stimulation lead or an intrathecal catheter can be a significant professional achievement. Unfortunately the number of physicians who are students of the entire procedure is less common. Part of the total implant package includes learning the finer points of wound closure. This chapter is dedicated to that pursuit.
