Abstract

Monitoring and measurement technology is very important for the energy internet. As a complex network system, there are a large number of state variables that need to be monitored continuously in the Energy Internet. To control the whole network reasonably and efficiently, it is indispensable to acquire these state variables in a timely and accurate manner. Data monitoring and measurement technologies are a set of information technologies, including data acquisition technology, data transmission technology, data analysis technology and data security technology. In this chapter, the above technologies and their applications in the Energy Internet are introduced in detail, which can help readers fully understand the basic role of monitoring and measurement technology in the Energy Internet architecture.
