Abstract

Built on European social cohesion policy mainstream, this paper reveals incentives of Third sector players’ active involvement into economic growth in Lithuania. Emerging role of social enterprises needs a scientific focus on social economy categorisation in terms of opening a stage for scientific debates around sustainable development of non-governmental sector in Lithuania. The paper discusses themes, such as social economy recognition, inter-sectoral boundaries, social economy partnership and other factors of social sustainability.
