In this chapter Leanne Walker, an expert by experience peer support worker, uses her own experiences of using CAMH services, and now working in them to reflect on what was useful and what she and others need from nurses and others who see them during their journey. Leanne also talks to two current service users Danni and Hannah about what they have found helpful and what could be better. Linking this to her experience at a national level in developing youth participation in developing better CAMHS, Leanne reflects on the role of the individual within the wider system, and how nurses can make a difference at a local level but need to be part of changing the whole system too. She ends with an intriguing question….
