Abstract

More than ever before, cooperation as a growth driver on a mature telecommunications market is at the top of the CEO’s agenda at Telco companies. Here, results of an International Partnering Study are exhibited, recently conducted by Detecon International, which allow deeper insights. Mission of the study was to determine the global status of the development of partnering in the telecommunications industry and to identify the key factors for the optimization of profits through partnering (return on partnering). Key success factors and main building blocks of the partnering strategy, of partner assessment, of partner integration and of partner development by Telcos are outlined and consolidated in a “house” of partnering excellence.
