Abstract

Software implementation of new symmetric cryptography block algorithms - Indect Block Cipher - based on highly nonlinear substitution boxes is presented in this article. Innovative combination of key scheme and substitution- permutation phase of this algorithm provides promising level of robustness against cryptanalysis. Also results of first performance tests are satisfactory for now. At the beginning of the paper, application requirements and programming environment are briefly described. Functional description and structure of application are presented in the following sections. Graphical interface is described in detail as well as results of performance tests are provided. At the end, future development of IBC application is considered. © 2011 Springer-Verlag.
