Formation and phase transitions of hydrated vanadium oxides with layered structures

Abstract

In the present study, phases with layered structures were obtained by hydrothermal treatment of aqueous VOSO4 solutions. The conditions of preparing phases with different layer spacings were examined and phase transitions induced by the dehydration and also by the subsequent hydration were observed.
