Abstract

During the last years, the advances in the synthesis of nanomaterials have had an important impact in the Analytical Chemistry field, up to the point that an extremely high number of works in which they are used as nano-sorbents, among other applications, have been published. Regarding food contaminants analysis, such nano-sorbents have also found an important application field. This book chapter pretends to provide a general overview of the different preparation methods of those nano-sorbents that have been successfully applied for contaminants extraction from food as well as their most relevant and recent applications.
