Abstract
In this paper several handwriting recognition algorithms have been evaluated with respect to the size of database, language and recognition rate. These algorithms apply supervised, unsupervised and sometimes combination of those classifiers. In number of those cases some suggestions are given about classifier and size of database to improve recognition rate. © 2009 Springer-Verlag.
