Abstract

First of all, we should note that the adjective interdisciplinary is used here consciously and in its proper dialectical sense. AGVS planning will be presented here comprehensively – as in the oft-cited VDI Guideline 2710 (VDI 2710 Ganzheitliche Planung von Fahrerlosen Transportsystemen (FTS) “Interdisciplinary Design of Automated Guided Vehicle Systems (AGVS)”.) – all of the planning stages are to be addressed, starting with the preliminary considerations and ending with the decommissioning of the used equipment. Naturally, we will limit ourselves to the AGVS-related aspects – general descriptions of the topic of project management are available in great numbers.
