Abstract

A discussion is presented of three site selection factors: prosperity, profitability, and productivity. The author shows that once a few sites are selected on the basis of Prosperity factors the final selection can be based by logical analysis of Profitability and Productivity factors. The Profitability factors can be compared on a common basis of annual recurring charges including interest charges on the capital employed as interest on the capital. The Productivity factors can be compared using weighted average of Importance and Quality values. The comparison of the final numbers arrived at from the analysis of Profitability and Productivity factors will help in arriving at a reliable conclusion.
