Abstract

With the ever-increasing need for sharing data across a wide spectrum of audience, including commercial enterprises, governments, and research organizations, there is an equally growing concern about the privacy of such data. In this paper, we address a specific sharing subdomain where the data is made available only to a selected few and not for public access. Even under this constrained sharing, there are possibilities for privacy violations. The paper addresses issues of quantifying such privacy violations taking into account the degree of trust between the sharing parties. We employ an Embedded Privacy Agreement-based system to evaluate the privacy violation.
