Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques have grown rapidly in recent year due to good ability to control the nonlinear model. Fuzzy logic is an important artificial intelligence technique. The ability of fuzzy logic to handle imprecise and inconsistent real-world problems has made it suitable for different applications. In this paper, a method for auto tuning MIMO fuzzy-PID (proportional–integral– derivative) conventional methods is proposed. Modeling and control of basis weight and ash content using fuzzy-PID, adjusts online parameters of a conventional PID (proportional–integral–derivative). The performance and stability objectives are assessed by simulated results.
