Abstract

IBOL’s new research program BIOSCAN has set out to DNA barcode the world (terrestrial invertebrates especially). This will give us a very broad and paper-thin view. We and the world can do a lot with paper. A very lot. Especially when it is used to map movements, detect presence, and begin to reveal the linkages among living things, tens of millions of living things.
