Abstract

Based on data from The World Health Organization (WHO), approximately 15% of the world's population, which amounts to over one billion people, are considered to have disabilities. Furthermore, based on the 2018 National Socioeconomic Survey on Disabilities, it was discovered that the 7-18 age group included a total of 55,708,205 people: 1,327,688 had moderate disabilities, while 433,297 had severe disabilities. This study aims to illustrate the teacher's experience in handling Tahfidz learning methods for children with special needs at SD IT Baitul Jannah Islamic School Lampung City. The research employs a qualitative methodology using a phenomenological approach and aims to investigate Tahfidz subject teachers in SD IT Baitul Jannah Islamic School Lampung City.   The study utilized a sample of three participants. The methodology employed in this study involves the technique of (snowball sampling).  Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and then conducted data analysis that began listening to recordings of interviews to make conclusions from the qualitative data obtained. Teachers specializing in Tahfidz learning methods for children with special needs encounter six themes: teacher support, teacher barriers, teacher strategies, the development of children with special needs, the role of parents, and the role of shadow teachers. Based on the information from several participants, it was uncovered that teachers must have a strategy of approach to children with special needs as these children have emotional instability that will impact the process of Tahfidz learning. Abstrak Berdasarkan data dunia (WHO) Sekitar 15% populasi di dunia atau lebih dari 1miliar orang diperkirakan penyandang disabilitas dan menurut Survei sosial ekonomi nasional tahun 2018 tentang data difabel didapatkan kelompok usia 7-18 tahun berjumlah 55.708.205 jiwa dengan penyandang disabilitas sedang sebanyak  1.327.688 jiwa, dan penyandang disabilitas berat sebanyak 433.297 jiwa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguraikan pengalaman guru dalam metode pembelajaran tahfidz pada anak berkebutuhan khusus di SD IT Baitul jannah Islamic School Bandar Lampung.  Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kualitatif dengan pendekatan study fenomenologi, Populasi yang akan diteliti dalam penelitian ini adalah guru mata pelajaran tahfidz di SD IT Baitul Jannah Bandar Lampung.   Pada penelitian kualitatif tidak mempersoalkan jumlah sampel penelitian, sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 3 partisipan. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sampel bola salju/berantai (snowball/chain sampling). Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi kemudian dilakukan analisis data yang dimulai mendengarkan rekaman hasil wawancara sampai membuat kesimpulan atas data kualitatif yang diperoleh. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa pengalaman guru dalam metode pembelajaran tahfidz pada anak berkebutuhan khusus mendapatkan 5 tema yaitu dukungan guru, hambatan guru, strategi guru, perkembangan anak ABK, peran orangtua dan peran shadow teacher. Berdasarkan pemaparan dari beberapa partisipan didapatkan guru harus mempunyai strategi pendekatan kepada anak berkebutuhan khusus karena anak berkebutuhan khusus mempunyai ketidakstabilan emosi yang nantinya berdampak pada proses pembelajaran tahfidz.
