Analisis Pendapatan dan Faktor-faktor yang Mempengaruhi Usahatani Serai Wangi di Kecamatan Blang Jerango Kabupaten Gayo Lues

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of farm income and the factors that affect the citronella farming in Blang Jerango district, Gayo Lues Regency. The population in this study amounted to 742 citronella farmers in Blang Jerango District, Gayo Lues Regency, while the respondents in this study were taken from the research population of 60 respondents.Based on the research that has been done, the conclusions obtained from this research are as follows:There is a difference in the level of income of citronella farmers in Blang Jerango district, Gayo Lues Regency with an average of Rp. 1,390,886. This proves that to meet the needs of a decent living for one month in Aceh Province, the amount of rupiah that must be spent is Rp. 1,732,413 per capita. Variables of land area, production, selling price and experience of farmers have a significant and positive relationship to the income of lemongrass farming in Blang Jerango District, Gayo Lues Regency. Meanwhile, the production cost variable has a significant and negative effect on the income of lemongrass farming in Blang Jerango District, Gayo Lues Regency.
