XML application for SNMP-based information management

Abstract

The information management requires flexible, extensible form as information continues to grow in size and complexity. This paper analyzes the architecture of the XML application for SNMP-based information management and study how to combining XML with SNMP-based information management. Simple HTML requirement is sent to web server, the particular management interface are provided after XML/MIB mapping, XML files of the response are created to display on the HTML page based on XML technologies. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2010.
