Abstract

Ways of increasing the efficiency of a flotation unit are discussed based on various laboratory flotation studies and field experiments. The wastewaters of an edible oil industry near Izmir were treated using various kinds of polymers. The effect of polyelectrolyte addition on flotation efficiency was evaluated. Experimental results are presented and discussed. (P.M.T.)
