Abstract

This chapter presents a scalable platform designed from scratch to support teaching laboratories of embedded systems. Platform's complexity can increase to offer more functionalities in conjunction with student's educational evolution. An I2C bus guarantees the continuity of functionalities among modules. The functionalities are supported by a communication protocol presented in this chapter. © 2011 Springer Science+Business Media B.V.
