Parking in Mexico City is a real challenge. Although this city is North America’s worst city for parking [2], there is not a real parking system. There are people in charge of parking cars on the public street for a fee together with public or private parking garages. Meanwhile, there are also parking meters in some of the neighborhoods and also some apps for finding paid parking. This paper presents ParkCDMX, a new app to help people to find a place in a public garage in Mexico City. It provides a map of all registered public parking lots in the city. The actual geographic position of the user can be the starting point to search either by street or neighborhood. The approach is based on User Centered Design methodology, including interviews of potential users in order to know their needs and offer a pertinent app according to the city.
