Abstract

Nowadays, defectoscopy is very popular for evaluation of the parts in different kind of industry. It is very important to know internal structure of the used parts. The most applications of porosity evaluation can be find in the plastic and aluminium parts control. There are still many questions about accuracy of the non- destructive porosity evaluation according to many possibilities for part´s scanning and evaluation methods. Experimental investigation of this paper is dealing with differences in porosity evaluation of the plastic part scans with different voxel sizes. Two different porosity analysis were used for data achievement. There is still not enough knowledge about the influence of the voxel size (3 dimensional pixel) on the evaluated porosity.
