Abstract

Prenatal mortality was observed in 44 out of 690 females that were diagnosed pregnant at 34-50 days post-insemination. The fetal mortality between pregnancy diagnosis and parturition was 6.38% with a standard deviation of 1.87. During gestation the variation in loss of pregnancy between 30-day periods was not significant (P > 0.05). © 1954, American Dairy Science Association. All rights reserved.
