Abstract

[ANALYSIS DEVELOPMENT OF RADIATION SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS] Activities that run on radiology allow for radiation hazards, so as a radiographer is necessary to pay attention the development of a radiodiagnostic radiation safety management system. This research to know the development of a radiodiagnostic radiation safety management system at Ulin Banjarmasin Hospital. This research is a qualitative descriptive design. Data collected by observation, interview, and analyzed the development of a radiation safety management system at Ulin Banjarmasin Hospital. The results of the study showed that The Radiology Installation of Ulin Banjarmasin Hospital already had a radiation protection organization. However, there has been no official implementation from the permit holder or management of Ulin Banjarmasin regarding radiation protection training. Health monitoring of radiation workers has been carried out. The Radiology Installation of Ulin Banjarmasin has adequate radiation protection equipment. The radiation safety management system at The Radiology Installation of Ulin Banjarmasin is in accordance with applicable standard.
