Abstract

The magnetic properties of some natural and synthetic pyrrhotites are described, and it is shown that magnetic reversals can be induced by suitable treatment. As a result of various magnetic and chemical tests it seems possible that two magnetic phases co‐exist, but it has not been possible to identify these phases. Copyright © 1966, Wiley Blackwell.
