This is a previously unpublished manuscript of the lecture given by A. Einstein on November 2, 1910 before the Zurich Physical Society. The original document can be found in the bequest of Heinrich Zangger, at the Manuscripts Department of the Central Library of Zurich. Transcribed with the permission of the Central Library by W.
