Abstract

In this paper, a task allocation algorithm is proposed for reliable and efficient transmission in wireless sensor networks. The task allocation problem is formulated as a minimum energy consumption problem under multiple constraints. The feasible solution of the formulated problem is obtained by the proposed algorithm. The task with large resource demand is mapped to the multi-node cooperation by using the principle of proximity. Finally, the proposed algorithm is evaluated on MATLAB platform. The results show that its reliability is guaranteed in the case of low energy consumption.
