Left sided amyand's hernia: A rare case report

Abstract

The rare occurrence of the vermiform appendix in an inguinal hernia inflamed or otherwise, is known as Amyand's hernia.We present a case of Amyand's hernia discovered incidentally during surgery for a left-sided obstructed inguinal hernia and briefly review the literature on the topic.
