Abstract

An adaptive image workstation with co-operative user interface has been designed which actively assists users by mechanisms for automatic access to relevant documents and appropriate document presentation. This is achieved by explicit models of context-dependent diagnostic information requirements. Initial models have been acquired from expert radiologists and implemented by means of a rule-based and object-oriented representation system.
