Abstract

The need to improve systems development quality is increasingly felt by information systems departments in organizations. A clear definition of systems development quality is required to focus quality management efforts. We develop a broader definition of quality by identifying product and process dimensions of quality that systems development should ensure, and present a framework to classify systems development quality metrics.
