Beyond the Ebola Battle — Winning the War against Future Epidemics

Abstract

The battle to contain and defeat the recent Ebola epidemic was won at immense cost. It would be a huge mistake to turn away and declare the war over; West Africa remains vulnerable to a resurgence, and there will undoubtedly be outbreaks of other infectious diseases.
