Multigrade approach in education is implemented to support the goal of universal access to quality education. The Department of Education (DepEd) in the Philippines, along its thrust of increasing access to quality elementary education, is strengthening the implementation of the Multigrade Program in the Philippine Education (MPPE). The main aim of the study is to describe the lived experiences of public-school teachers in the new normal. This qualitative study, specifically transcendental phenomenological research, was based on the systematic approach of Moustakas (1994). The lifeworld of fifteen multigrade teachers, based on the semi-structured interview conducted, are the following: (1) Facilitating Learning in the Multigrade Classes, (2) Contextualization of Learning Resources, and (3) Role of Parents. The study hopes to address the challenges encountered by the participants and improve both instructional and administrative practices in the agency.
