Abstract

The performances of embroidered UWB wearable textile antenna due to the effect in bend conditions is discussed in this paper. The radiating element of the antenna is made of silver plated nylon thread by using embroidery technique, while the antenna substrate is cotton fabric and Nora dell as a ground plane. This UWB antenna is designed for operating frequency from 3.1 up to 10.6 GHz with a center frequency of 6.85 GHz. This research demonstrates the antenna bending effect at seven different angles in terms of the simulated and measured reflection coefficient.
