Abstract

Venous leg ulcer is an important health problem worldwide in which compression therapy has been recommended as first line standard treatment. However, some patients fail after compression therapy or have poor compliance with it. In this chapter, we discussed about other alternative treatments especially surgical therapy along with theirs evidence-based recommendations according to pathophysiology of venous leg ulcer.
