Abstract
In 3d city modelling the request for details is permanently growing. Because of that automatic facade reconstruction methods are needed. Structure information plays an important role in facade reconstruction since facade elements like windows are arranged in structural patterns. In this paper we present a facade grammar which models these structures. This grammar is used in an rjMCMC based facade reconstruction method. We evaluate the reconstruction method using the eTRIMS [1] image database. © 2009 Springer Berlin Heidelberg.
