Abstract

Flight safety evaluation technique will significantly guide the new-style aircraft preliminary design. Based on the principle of Human-machine System Engineering, the dynamic characteristic and modeling method of both pilot and aircraft are investigated. Pilot decision-making and Aircraft Failure model are proposed, and then a low-cost, convenient software evaluation system for flight safety simulation is developed based on the object-oriented technique. An example of accident is adopted to illustrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the software in evaluating the flight safety. It is shows that the safety design of civil aircraft and the flight accident can be visually evaluated and analyzed employing the developed software system. © 2011 Springer-Verlag.
