Abstract

Vaginismus is an involuntary contraction of the vaginal muscles which makes sexual intercourse difficult or impossible. It is one of the most common female psychosexual problems. Latest clinical findings on the classification, diagnosis, etiology and treatment of vaginismus will be reviewed in this paper
