Abstract

The COOLFluiD platform is a collaborative simulation environment where some parnters consolidated their developments during the ADIGMA project. We define the principles behind the design of the environment and how it is composed of components. We present this component architecture and explain how we use it to stimulate synergetic research collaborations. We provide implementation details of the building of components and doman representation. © 2010 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
