Abstract

One of the most important issues which need to be focused is multitasks scheduling, especially the dynamic task scheduling problem in cloud manufacturing (CMfg) environment. In this paper, the dynamic task scheduling process in CMfg is firstly analyzed. Then a method of dynamic scheduling based on realtime simulation is presented and the system framework of this method is proposed. This framework consists of three layers that are task processing layer, core scheduling layer and resource service layer. Key modules in the core scheduling layer include subtask dispatcher, service scheduler and scheduling scheme simulator. Finally, we discuss the advantages and disadvantages of this simulation- based scheduling method in solving dynamic task scheduling problem in cloud manufacturing environment.
