In this article the author discusses the role of double blind review (DBR) of scholarly publishing in the field of science research. He comments on the impact of bias on the quality and integrity of scientific literature, particularly in the publication process. The concept of publication bias is examined, with the author suggesting that it occurs when only positive results are submitted for scholarly publication or when journal editors and reviewers select papers for publication. The author suggests that the double blind review method of peer evaluation can reduce instances of publication bias.
