Abstract

In the past few years, cloud computing is gaining a considerable momentum as a new computing paradigm for shifting the service delivery. With cloud computing, users enjoy the option to deploy their services over a network of powerful resource pool with practically no capital investment and modest operating cost [10, 27, 111, 148]. Despite a considerable amount of research works on addressing various challenges in cloud computing such as data processing and migration [17, 68, 97, 144], knowledge management [57], accessibility [151], and security and privacy [115, 120], cloud services discovery still largely remains an untouched area [148].
