Abstract

Paired t-tests are for assessing the effect of two treatments in a single group of patients. However, if you wish to compare three treatments, the paired t-tests can no longer be applied. Instead, paired analysis of variance (ANOVA), otherwise called repeated-measures ANOVA must be used for analysis.
