Abstract

In this paper,we present amethod of edge detection in the absence of prior knowledge of the analyzed image. The method is based on a graph representation of the image, more precisely, on graph representations of the image parts. The process of edge detection is based on a flow network and graph-cut techniques. "Source" and "sink" are indicated automatically. The results of edge detection are based on an artificial example and real images.
