Abstract

Complex operation planning is a very complicated process. Computer support makes this process more effective and improves its quality. A quantitative evaluation of different variants of complex operation plan is especially important. In this paper we propose some quality measures of complex operation plan and methods of calculation of these measures. We applied the concept of CAST logic and stochastic PERT analysis to support military joint operation planning. These methods were implemented in the computer package presented in the paper. By using the method and computer tool an exemplified military joint operation is considered. © 2010 Springer-Verlag.
