Abstract
The article presents an activity utilizing rubber bands that can be used to help people understand gravity's role in creating tides. The author explains the interaction between the Moon's and Sun's gravitational forces and the Earth's surface, noting that gravitational pull changes according to the type of surface being interacted with.
