Abstract

While I was preparing this volume with Angelo Compare and Gianfranco Parati and I was also asking some major international experts for a collaboration with several chapters which make up this book, I felt the need to include the human dimension, some relational and emotive aspects in the treatment of the cardiac patient, together with the technical-scientific dimension, produced by research in psycho-cardiology. © 2006 Springer-Verlag Milan.
