Abstract

This paper intends to introduce familiarize readers the reasons & characteristics of athletic injuries in volleyball games, analyses the basic principles of anatomy that causes the injuries and examines the direct & objective reasons of the injuries by investigating the present status of the athletic injuries in volleyball games, expert interviews, and exploring relevant articles from the China Academic Periodicals Network. It looks for the laws of the injuries in volleyball games to prevent the future common athletic injuries in volleyball games and provide theoretical reference for improving the playing skills in volleyball games. © 2011 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
