Abstract

AI and robot technology of the new era will have a major impact on human development in future. Such technologies are beginning to raise some basic issues about how to use these systems and what are potential risks and how to control them. This chapter explores one of AI and robotics popular and controversial topic—AI ethics. First, we introduce AI ethics with Asimov’s Three Laws of Robotics. Next, we study major aspects and concerns related to AI ethics include: robots ethics, robot rights, moral agents, opaqueness of AI systems, privacy & AI monitoring, automation and employment, prejudices in AI systems, responsibility for autonomous machines, and international AI ethic policy.
