Abstract

The university librarian of Dominican University, Illinois relates experiences as a course builder for Blackboard. These involved collaboration with a member of the history faculty to integrate user training for history research into the Blackboard system. Reports the benefits in terms of the tailoring of use instructions to user needs and the fostering of rapport between librarian and students.
