Abstract

The important procedures in the field of magnetic measurements, due to the versatile and numerous applications in different sciences and the advantage of accuracy, non-destruction and contact less techniques are discussed here. Due to the universality of the methods and the prototype techniques which used in the magnetic field measurements, a review on the latest advances in the topic is essential. This paper deals with the determinant factors of the design and fabrication process of the magnetic sensors and especially the techniques and the materials used in the industry of the transducers. Following a brief examination on the magnetic sensors and main operating issues, specific focus is given to the critical factors for obtaining a high quality output. We focus our discussion on those effects that influence the efficiency and provide the information towards an accreditation system establishment.
