Abstract

Urban regeneration is a procedure to restore the name to things and settled spaces and sense of the common recognition of living environments. It is a creative and incisive renovation project which revises the traditional town planning regulations. It is not a simple urban make-up because of political participation have been activated. To focus attention on the people who settle in it, from the definition of a community profile of new residents that is: youth, adults, singles and couples with and without children, which also belong to the current “gray band” that is, who have too low income to access the free market and too high to access to public housing. The Social Housing is an advanced tool in the field of housing policy, which tends to reduce the economic and social malaise of an increasingly large segment of the population and to improve the quality of life.
